2020 has been an incredibly crazy year, both in terms of what we have all had to adapt to, and how it has impacted every bit of our lives. Some readers saw an amazing increase in their reading stats, and others saw a decrease. In the beginning, I don’t think I saw a big difference as my schedule was still relatively the same as when I was going into the office to work. Things changed though when my temporary job ended, and I became a consultant. It meant organizing my own business, keeping up with new bills, and weird hours sometimes. I was incredibly grateful for it all, but the changes were part of a big transition for me as I worked it in with what I already do for this blog. I think given how my reading hit some major ups and downs in the year it definitely has outlined a need for organization both in terms of how I blog, and also in how I read. As I worked on the below list, and begin working on goals and challenges for 2021 I am exploring the best ways to read more, but also be more in-depth with my reading. Besides the quantity of books for the year — goal of 50 downsized to 40 đŸ˜¦ — I am beyond happy with the quality of the books in the list and excited for the ones I’ve picked for the next year.
