February was a really good month, though slightly off the track I had originally thought I would take. It kind of made me laugh that I happened to pick up Half-Blood randomly (didn’t even have the whole series) and got immersed in that. I’m definitely not mad since it meant I actually read, and quit trying to force myself to read the one book that was just not clicking, nor helping my reading honestly. I did slow down a little though as I focused in on my art and realized I had a self-portrait I needed to start getting worked on since that deadline is fast approaching. This is definitely a year of trying to figure out the best balance between my two interests, and making sure I just sit back and enjoy them.
